Longford Town departed Dalymount Park with a point following a 1-1 draw with Bohemians in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division.
Rob Manley gave Town the lead in the first half only for his effort to be cancelled out by Jamie Mullins shortly after half-time.
The game’s first meaningful chance fell to Longford Town on four minutes as Dean Williams saw his shot deflected out for a corner which was subsequently cleared.
Four minutes later Conor Livingston’s powerful shot forced a fine save from Lee Steacy and the resulting corner again found its way to Livingston who missed from roughly three yards out.
Aaron McNally almost opened the scoring on 14 minutes but saw his 35 yard volley bounce narrowly wide of the post.
16 minutes later Aodh Dervin went close from a free kick and before trying his luck again on 34 minutes forcing a fine save from James Talbot.
The deadlock was broken on 38 minutes when a delightful cross from Shane Elworthy found Rob Manley who fired home from ten yards out as Longford led one-nil at the break.
Ten minutes after the restart Bohemians pulled one back through Jamie Mullins who scored a wonderful solo effort.
Mullins evaded two Town challenges before a decoy run from Georgie Kelly created space for him to shoot and he blasted it past Steacy.
20 minutes later Town could have moved back in front after a splendid pass from Lee Steacy played in Dylan Grimes who shot wide.
Georgie Kelly could have won it for the hosts with the last play of the game but his close-range header sailed over the crossbar and it ended honours even.
