There was a double-header for our Under-16 White boy’s team in the LLR league. The opening encounter saw the hosts take on Boyle.

Despite a good start from the visitors, it was not long before Phoenix White took control of the game. With their much stronger bench, Phoenix Whites played some lovely basketball throughout to emerge comfortable winners.

The second fixture was an all-Phoenix affair with Phoenix White taking on the less-experienced Phoenix Green. This was an entertaining game played in a friendly but competitive spirit and despite some nice baskets from the Green team, White were once again comfortable winners.

These two victories leave Phoenix White at the top of the LLR U16 Boys table heading into the Christmas break.

The U14 boy’s team also recorded a victory against their Boyle opponents.

It was a clean sweep for our underage teams against Boyle, as our U12 side earned an impressive 11-point victory on the road, emerging winners by 22 points to 11.

Finally, everyone at the club would like to congratulate Sam Bartram from our inclusion team who was a flag bearer at the recent Premier League game between Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur in front of a crowd of sixty thousand supporters.
