Longford go in search of All Ireland minor success

Longford Ladies will look to claim a minor All Ireland title this evening (Wednesday 3rd) when they face Monaghan in the "B" decider at 7pm in Ashbourne. The last success for the county at this grade was in 2019 when they overcame Roscommon and have shown good form this year by reaching the decider with an impressive win over Sligo in the semi final. Monaghan were "A" finalists last year, with the competition not been completed due to Covid while their last success at this grade was back in 1999 as well as 98 and 94
