Longford bow out of Leinster minor championship at quarter-final stage

Longford minors bowed out of the Leinster championship after a two point defeat to Wicklow.

Longford led five points to three at half-time, before losing eight points to six in Glennon brothers Pearse Park.

The sides were locked six points a piece in the 60th minute.

Alex Kavanagh scored a massive point in the first minute of additional time to put Wicklow ahead. Moments later Jack Kenny converted a long range free.

The surprise result see's Longford bow out at the quarter-final stage.
