Hagan, McGivney (f), Gallagher and Mimnagh all added second-half points as Longford led 10 points to 1-4 with 10 minutes remaining.

Meath fought back to secure a draw, but that was enough for Longford to progress to the O’Byrne cup final.

Longford will play either Offaly or Louth in the final.
