As senior intercounty teams, continue their preparations for the resumation of action next month with start of the Allianz national football league, Leitrim manager Terry Hyland has noted that the focus for him and his management team will be the introduction of youth into this side. Leitrim, will compete in the Northern Section of Division 4 along with Antrim, Sligo, and Louth, and the former Cavan manager stressed the importance of giving youth their chance.
Sligo will provide the opposition to Leitrim in the opening round of the league on Sunday the 16th of May.
