Leitrim’s Connacht championship opener against Sligo will take place at Avant Money Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada on April 7th.
The game was previously switched to Dr. Hyde Park in Roscommon due to a scheduled pitch upgrade at Carrick-on-Shannon.
The planned upgrade was originally due to begin after last Sunday’s Allianz football league meeting with Tipperary.

However, the Connacht CCC have confirmed today that the work won’t commence until after April 7th due to bad weather.
Leitrim should have home advantage for such an important game as a result.
The game takes place on Sunday April 7th with a 3.30 pm throw in. Shannonside Northern Sound will have full live coverage.
