Leitrim claim their first victory in nearly two years.

Andy Moran masterminded a maiden victory as Leitrim boss following a 2-16 to 2-8 triumph over Tipperary at FBD Semple Stadium in Allianz football league division four.

The visitors led eight points to five at the half-time break before a dominant second-half display resulted in a convincing victory.

The sides were deadlocked at five points each on the half-hour mark; Riordan O’Rourke registered one point while Keith Beirne accounted for the remainder of Leitrim’s tally.
