Leitrim moved top of Allianz league division four after hammering Carlow in Avantmoney Pairc Sean MacDiarmada.
In a bizarre game Carlow finished with 12-men. Ciaran Moran, Jamie Clarke and Mickey Brambrick all saw red in the second-half as Leitrim won out 2-22 to 0-12.
Carlow showed a good opening hand with two early points before Keith Beirne found the Carlow net on 20 minutes after great work from Jack Heslin.
Jack Heslin slammed the ball home for Leitrim’s second goal in the 35th minute as Leitrim led 2-7 to eight points at half-time.
Carlow fought back after the restart but red cards to Ciaran Moran, Jamie Clarke and Mickey Bramberick ended the contest.
Andy Moran's side too full advantage and added six points to the scoreboard winning out 2-22 to 12 points giving Leitirm a good score difference.
