Leitirm junior hurling and football champions bow out of Connacht

Cluainin Iomaint bowed out of the Leitrim junior hurling championship after a defeat to Easkey of Sligo.

The Sligo champions won out 2-15 to Cluainin Iomaint 1-15. Martin Feeney with a goal for the Leitrim champions three minutes into second-half injury time.

There was further disappointing news for the Leitrim junior football champions Glenfarne/Kiltyclogher as they bowed out of the Connacht junior champions to St. Patrick’s of Sligo.

The Sligo champions won out 3-14 to 3-8 and will face the Roscommon champions St Jospeh’s to progress to the Connacht semi-final.
