Kilmacud Crokes made it back-to-back Leinster football titles with a convincing win over The Downs in Croke Park.
Kilmacud won out 1-12 to eight points having led 1-9 to one point at half-time. Galway’s Shane Walsh registering nine points for the Dublin side.
Shane Cunningham’s goal had put Crokes 1-3 to 0-1 ahead after 15 minutes and after that there was only one winner.

Walsh scored all three of Crokes second-half points. The Downs managed a seven second-half points but in all reality the game was well and truly over.
