Daniel Mimnagh’s last-gasp point saw Killoe come from behind to draw 12 points each with Abbeylara in the Longford SFC at Dromard.
Killoe trailed 0-6 to 0-4 at half-time before a second-half resurgence saw the 13-time champion’s fight-back to salvage a draw.
Two pointed frees from Robbie Smith with one from Nigel Rabbitte saw Abbeylara lead 0-3 to 0-1 on 17 minutes. Eugene Clarke restored parity four minutes later.
Points from Ciaran Scanlon, Rabbitte and Smith saw Abbeylara move three points clear on 26 minutes before Mark Hughes landed a free on the stroke of half-time making it a two-point game.
Hughes reduced the margin to a single point with another free on 41 minutes. A hat-trick of points saw Abbeylara restore their four-point cushion four minutes later.
Killoe responded impressively and three points from substitute Eamon Keogh saw Tommy Donohoe’s men draw level six minutes from time.
Rabbitte gave Abbeylara a one-point lead five minutes later only for his effort to be cancelled out by Mimnagh right at the death.
Colmcille and Mullinalaghta complete victories
Elsewhere, Colmcille were confirmed as group two winners with a late two point victory over Carrickedmond. Carrickedmond trailed by two points heading towards the final stages before Colmcille fought back to win 15 points to 2-17
Mullinalaghta had a straight forward win over Longford Slashers leading from start to finish and winning out 2-13 to 1-4.
