Heather Payne nominated for FAI young player of the year

Heather Payne has been nominated for the FAI’s Young Women’s International Player of the Year.

Roscommon star, Payne stared in Ireland’s campaign to qualify for the 2023 women’s world cup. Abbie Larkin and Jess Ziu.

The nominees of the 33rd FAI International Awards have been confirmed ahead of a ceremony on Tuesday, June 20 in The round room in the Mansion House.

The performances taken into account are from June 2022 to June 2023, while the SSE Airtricity League Player of the Year takes in the entirety of the 2022 season.
