Ireland face Slovakia and Georgia at the end of November

Roscommon star Heather Payne is named in the Ireland squad for2023 FIFA Women's World Cup qualifiers with Slovakia and Georgia.

Payne is one of 25 players named for the games in Tallaght Stadium with Slovakia on Thursday, November 25th and Georgia on Tuesday 30th.

Midfielder Ruesha Littlejohn and forward Kyra Carusa are available again following injuries. A third goalkeeper will be added to the squad once international clearance comes through from FIFA.

Ellen Molloy is recalled following impressive displays for the Ireland Women's Under-19s in their qualifiers last month. While there are two players included who helped Shelbourne win the SSE Airtricity Women's National League last weekend.

The Wexford Youths and Shelbourne players will link up with the squad after the EVOKE.ie FAI Women's Cup Final on Sunday, November 21st. The rest of the Ireland squad set to attend that game as spectators.
