The Longford swimmer put in a strong 200 meter heat but just came up short on qualifying for the semi final

Darragh Greene has finished 7th in his heat of the 200 metre breast stroke. With the 100 meter his main discipline, the Longford swimmer did put in a strong opening 100 in what was a quick race before tiring in the finally 50 metres. It seen him finish in 23rd overall adding to his 29th finish in the 100 metre event earlier in the week to complete his Olympic experience.
