Daniel Wiffen says February’s World Swimming Championships will be a trial run for the Olympic Games.
The 22-year-old became the first Irish swimmer to hold a world record, when he smashed the short-course 800-metre freestyle best.
That helped Wiffen win his third gold medal of last week’s European Championships in Romania. Wiffen has already turned his attentions to Doha.
