Conor Daly and Padraig Pearses set for Connacht final against Knockmore on Sunday

Conor Daly will lead Padraig Pearses to a first ever AIB Connacht senior club final, but knows it will be tough.

The Roscommon champions face Mayo champions Knockmore, the surprise package of the year after Castlebar Mitchell’s were dumped out.

“We go up to Ballina with 100% fitness, we haven’t had an issues or covid issues” explained Daly.

“We know the quality Knockmore possess, they have players who played an All-Ireland final this year, so we know what the possess”.

“If we don’t bring 100% our best, we won’t be successful. So we’re going there after preperations have gone well we feel, going down there to give it our very best”.

The AIB Connacht club final Padraig Pearses v Knockmore is live this Sunday from 1.30pm on Shannonside FM.
