The Ireland Women's National Team have confirmed their support staff ahead of their 2024 season kicking off

The FAI have confirmed Colin Healy and Emma Byrne as assistant coaches to Ireland women’s head coach Eileen Gleeson.

Healy and Byrne were part of Gleeson’s backroom team since her appointment in September 2023. Gleeson has also added Rhys Carr and Performance Coach Ivi Casagrande to her coaching ticket.

Wales native Carr is a new addition to the staff. The UEFA A Licence graduate currently works as Individual Development Coach at Wolverhampton Wanderers and has a Msc in Sports Coaching.

Both Healy and Byrne return to the coaching set-up. Byrne specialise in goalkeeping coaching following last year's successful UEFA Nations League campaign.

Casagrande also returns from 2023 to continue in her role along with Performance Psychologist Sarah Murray and Nutritionist Dr. Brendan Egan.

The full support staff will begin preparation for the UEFA Women’s European Championship Qualifiers with upcoming friendlies against Italy (February 23) and Cymru (February 27).
