Cobh inflict fourth defeat in a row on Longford Town

Longford Town's promotion play-off dreams came to an end as Cobh Ramblers scored a 2-0 win in St. Colemans Park.

The defeat is town's fourth in a row and means the best they can not finish is sixth and outside the play-off places.

Goals from Jack Doherty and Wilson Waweru in either half gave Cobh the three points. Longford have two league games remaining and only have pride to play for.
