Clonguish score six-point Longford SFC victory over Carrickedmond

Clonguish recorded their first Longford SFC victory of 2022 following a 2-12 to 1-9 victory over Carrickedmond at Keenan Park.

Clonguish led 1-8 to 1-3 at half-time; the goal coming courtesy of Chris Gordon on 15 minutes while Barry O’Farrell found the net for Carrickedmond.

Clonguish moved ten points clear 13 minutes from time when Josh Sorohan added a second goal and while Carrickedmond responded with four unanswered points, it was too little too late.

Next up for Carrickedmond is a clash with Killoe in less than two weeks while Clonguish will take on Abbeylara.
