Clann na nGael comeback to land Roscommon ladies title

Clann na nGael produced a fairy-tale comeback to land the Roscommon senior ladies football.

Four second-half goals saw Clann na nGael beat St. Brigids 5-11 to 2-7 having trailed 2-5 to 1-1 at half-time.

Sally O'Hara and Lucy Sheffield found the Clann net in the first-half as Brigids where in control at half-time. Róise Lennon having landed an early penalty for Clann.

However second-half goals from Ciara Quinn, Kara Earle another Lennon penalty had Clann in a shocking control.

Earle grabbed her second goal to confirm a 13-point victory for Clann who celebrated another county title.
