The Luton Town winger suffered a knock and has returned to his club.

Republic of Ireland winger Chiedozie Ogbene is ruled out of tonight's friendly with Switzerland at the Aviva Stadium.

Interim manager John O’Shea reported an injury-free squad on Monday, however Ogbene was subsequently omitted from the squad.

The Cork native suffered a knock and has returned to his club Luton Town.

Elsewhere, Jake O'Brien, Joe Hodge and Finn Azaz could be in line for international debuts. All three players have previously been capped at U21 level.

Switzerland also played out a scoreless draw with Denmark recently.
