Turkey was part of the UK governments red travel list

The Champions League final between Manchester City and Chelsea has been moved from Istanbul to Porto.

The game remains scheduled for the 29th of May with the change was made after Turkey was placed on the UK's travel 'red' list, meaning fans wouldn't be able to travel.

Wembley was considered as a potential venue but the British government couldn't fulfil all of UEFA's requests, particularly regarding quarantine of non-playing patron’s arriving in London.

Portugal is on the UK government’s green list, so supporters won't have to quarantine on their arrival back home. Each club will receive 6,000 tickets each.
