A last gasp Kyle Kenny equaliser saw Carrick take a share of the spoils 1-14 to 2-11 in a hectic game in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.
A Paddy Moran advanced free opened the scoring with less than 60 seconds on the clock.

Controversy reigned a minute before half-time. Dempsey made ground into the Killoe square, his first effort was blocked, the rebound was hung up. It looked from this angle that Kyle Kenny fisted the ball to the net from inside the square.
However, a conference with the umpires saw referee Mark Glancy award a goal. Furthermore, the goal was overruled once Dempsey had consulted his linesman for a square ball.
Indeed, uncertainty lingered with many believing that Killoe keeper Michael Hughes had the last touch before the ball crossed the line.
However, Carrick were in control with a Sean Kelly free making it a three point game with a free a minute into first-half injury time. Kelly fired over a two-pointer moments later as Carrickedmond led nine points to four at half-time.
Killoe made a raft of changes at half-time and it paid immediate divide ends. A great team effort down the left resulted in Eamon Keogh firing low to the net.
Gavin Farrelly added a point two minutes later before Killoe were in for their second goal. 38 minutes were on the clock when Shane Donohoe went on a rampaging run before setting up Ronan Keogh for the goal. Killoe leading 2-5 to 0-9.
Eamon Keogh and Gavin Farrelly added Killoe points to move them four points clear. However, Sean Kelly converted a Carrickedmond free on 38 minutes for their first score of the half.
Paddy Moran restored Killoe’s four point advantage two minutes later. However, Carrick seemed to settle with two converted frees from Aidan McGuire.
Surprisingly it took some 10 minutes for the next score. Another McGuire free. McGuire was key to Carrickedmonds next move.
A big ball in from the corner was fisted down and goalward by Kyle Kenny. Killoe keeper Micheal Hughes made a mess of it as the ball squirmed into the net. Carrick leading 1-13 to 2-8.
Substitute Paddy Kiernan equalised with a brilliant two pointer on 58 minutes.
A Paddy Moran fisted point four minutes into injury time looked like enough to win it for Killoe. However, Kyle Kenny leveled the game with the last kick as it finished 1-14 to 2-11.
