Cavan boxer Dominic Donegan was not at his best but still appeared to have done enough to make it a 6th professional win

After suffering his first professional defeat in Luxembourg over the weekend Cavan boxer Dominic Donegan, described the build up and the fight itself as strange. By his own admission the Drumgoon man was not at his best, but still seemed to have had enough to have claimed a 6th win over the journey man Milo Janjanin. However all 3 judges scored in favour of the Bosnian with one judge not awarding any of the rounds to Donegan. It was a decision that has incensed promoter Leonard Gunning who noted that a rematch has already been agreed.

Speaking to the Shannonside/Northern Sound sports desk, Dominic acknowledged it was a hard defeat to take but was only a small set back
