The competition enters round 5 this weekend

The Allianz National Football league moves into the fifth round with still plenty to play for across all four divisions.

Galway currently top the Division 1 table on seven points following three wins and a draw. Dublin and Donegal sit in second and third spot on six points with Kerry on four.

Armagh have three points along with Mayo while Tyrone are in seventh place on two points. The defending league champions Derry are propping up the table on one point and are in real danger of been relegated.

Division 2 has Monaghan, Meath and Roscommon all on six points. The Farney side holding top spot on score difference ahead of the Royal county.

The Rossies suffered their first defeat of the campaign at the hands of Meath on Sunday past and now face a tough trip away to Cork in Round five.

Manager Davy Burke noted that it maybe time to freshen things up with the team selection.

Division 3 is a little more straight forward. Indeed, Kildare are top on eight points with four wins from four and are on course for an immediate return to Division 2.

Offaly are in second place on six points with Laois, Clare, Antrim and Fermanagh all on four. Sligo and Leitrim are still awaiting their first points as they sit in seventh and eighth place.

Clare and Sligo have a game outstanding in that group as their weekend fixture was postponed.
