With the sporting scene slowly opening up from the Covid 19 lockdowns, organisations and associations are beginning to turn their attention to their futures.
Motorsport is very popular across the Northern Sound region, with national and international success for competitors in many disciplines of the sport.
April in particular would normally see the attention turn to the annual stages rally of the Monaghan Motorclub. There last hosting of the event was back in 2019 due to Covid restrictions which seen it been cancelled in 2020 and indeed now also in 2021.
