A county Monaghan-based construction company Carnehill Joinery has designed a new anti-viral door handle to help prevent the spread of Covid-19 in schools across the country.
The company is based in Scotstown, has also created an air purifying system, which it says kills airborne bacteria.
Eoghain McTiernan operations and finance manager of Carnehill joinery spoke to the Joe Finnegan Show on Wednesday morning about the matter.
