This week, 30 years ago, 'N17' the first single by The Saw Doctors was released on 7'' vinyl via Solid Records.
'N17' was produced by Mike Scott of The Waterboys and the B-side was a live version of 'Freedom Fighters' ft. John 'Turps' Burke on vocals.
John Donnelly from Roscommon was the original drummer with the Saw Doctors and he spoke about the song with Joe Finnegan on the JF Show.
