The Demesne in Castlerea is one of the Shannonside Northern Sound’s hidden gems - with the people of west Roscommon very proud of their own little piece of tranquillity among the busy and bustling market town and it’s not on every walk in the region that you can see an elephant’s grave as well as a fairy garden while admiring the nature and beauty of the park and the walks that link through the area.
