Families in the Shannonside region who have a lost a loved one to Sudden Cardiac Death are being made aware of a new support helpline.
CRY Ireland supports bereaved families and those affected by the diagnosis of a cardiac condition.
The new helpline, which is available on 1800 714 080, is open to anyone who is grieving or affected.

Family Support Programme Coordinator at CRY, Elaine Whelan, says the death of young people in a family leaves a huge void and people need support.
She spoke to Anne Norris on the Let's Talk show on Wednesday afternoon.
