A unique programme assisting people who were homeless in Longford to rebuild their lives succeeded in keeping 93% of the people it engaged with from returning to life on the streets.

The Midlands Simon Community has launched a report on its first three years of its Longford ' Housing with Support Service, based on Earl Street in the town.

It found that of the 14 people referred for help since it was established in 2018; 13 have remained out of homelessness.
