A special screening of the award winning Longford shot film 'Lakelands will be shown at Backstage Longford on this Saturday night the 12th of November.
The screening this weekend is completely sold out but there are plan to release the film in cinemas early next year.
The film portrays life in rural Ireland, as well as the GAA culture and masculine friendship and vulnerability.

Ronan O' Toole from the Still Voices Film Festival , and the two directors of the film Robert Higgins and Patrick McGivney came into the Shannonside FM studios this week to talk to Anne Norris on the Let's Talk show.
