A major funding investment for four Longford schools will ensure the educational facilities can increase enrolments.

That's according to Minister Norma Foley who is on a visit to the county today and is addressing each of the schools.

Lanesborough Community College, Ballymahon Vocational School, St Matthews National School and Mercy Secondary School in Ballymahon will all receive a multi-million package to deliver additional classrooms.
