Cancer support services are have worked tirelessly despite the Covid pandemic- as they overcame the challenges of helping people cope and work through cancer diagnoses during the worst of the Coronavirus.
One of the busiest services in the region is the Sligo Cancer Support Centre which also lists people across Leitrim and north Roscommon.
Bridget Kerrigan is its General Manager and she has been speaking to Kevin McGillicuddy, firstly discussing the origins of the centre itself
