The National Council for the Blind have been operating across the country for 90 years this year. The charity offers information and support, relevant technology and programmes to sustain those with a vision impairment in education, in the workplace and in society. NCBI operates shops across the Shannonside area with a regional hub covering the midlands based in Athlone.
