The Leitrim Covid 19 Test Centre in Carrick-on-Shannon has extended its opening hours this week as a result of an increase in demand for testing. The centre at the North-West Business and Tech Park in the town began operating in January as an afternoon service. A steady rise in the amount of people looking for tests has led to a morning walk-in clinic from 10am to 12 noon being added, and a referral appointment clinic will take place in the afternoons from 1.30 to 4.30pm.
