A Roscommon town painter and decorator known affectionately as T Hill has thanked the people of the town and beyond for their support following a fire in his house.
A local committee was formed renovate the house with efforts now to finish tiling and painting well in time so that he can return home before Christmas, with locals, businesses people and the public making donations for the renovations.
