A local GAA player is urging members of the public to learn how to administer CPR.
Athlone man Cathal Joyce suffered a Cardiac Arrest on the Gaelic pitch as he warmed up for a match in 2015.
He was revived following 3 rounds of CPR and a shock with a defibrillator.

The call comes following a similar incident during Denmark's Euro 2020 clash against Finland on Saturday, where Christian Eriksen collapsed mid game following a heart attack.
