A post mortem will be carried out after a woman in her 30s died after a shooting in Finglas in Dublin.
The woman was seriously injured in the incident, but later passed away in the Mater Hospital.
The coroner's been notified, and a post-mortem is due to be carried out by the State Pathologist.
Gardai say the shooting happened at around twenty to 9 last night, and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Local councillor Caroline Conroy, says it's important anyone with information contacts Gardai.
