Westmeath Rose Rachel Duffy has been crowned the 2022 Rose of Tralee.
23-year old Rachel is from the village of Rosemount near Moate.
More than 1,000 people attended last night's event at the MTU Kerry Sport's Academy.

Rachel says it is a dream come true:
I think shocked is an understatement.
I think i felt so lucky and in awe of the other girls
Just being in their presence in the last 2 weeks has made me realise what a privilege it is.
It was an honour just to be the Westmeath Rose and then to be here with all these girls from around the world
