Vodafone has confirmed that there was a service interruption to customers in the Longford town area due to scheduled maintenance works earlier today.
Mobile phone calls and texts were inaccessible for many customers after an issue was first notified around midday.
The company has confirmed that the issue was resolved just after 1pm.
