Visiting restrictions were implemented in the hospital last week after a Covid outbreak

Visiting restrictions introduced last week as a result of an outbreak of Covid at Roscommon Hospital have been lifted from St Bridget’s Ward and St Coman's Ward.

Visiting to both wards will still be by appointment only.

The restrictions are still in place on St Teresa’s Ward and no visiting is being allowed, unless exceptions are made on compassionate grounds.

People who have outpatient or other appointments at the hospital are advised that they should still attend unless contacted by a member of staff and advised not to.

Anyone turning up for an appointment must continue to follow all public health guidance and should arrive no earlier than ten minutes before the allotted time.
