Visiting restrictions have been put in place at Portiuncula Hospital due to a respiratory illness outbreak.
Visits to St Francis Ward have been limited to compassionate grounds only.
Anyone wishing to visit the ward is advised to contact the Ward Manager.

Hospital Manager, James Keane, says that limiting visits is not easy for patients and their families, however the measures are necessary to protect vunerable patients.
