Tara Farrell says violence against women is happening whether we want to talk about it or not, with the last ten years seeing the highest level of women killed in decades.
Speaking to Shannonside Northern Sound, Tara says while progress has been made, many parts of society have yet to recognise the seriousness of the problem.

While recent legislation has made stalking and coercive control a criminal act, more needs to be done according to the local women's link CEO.
