VFI says dropping VAT rate is a 'lifeline' for hospitality sector

The Vintners Federation of Ireland is welcoming cutting the rate from 13 point 5 per cent to 9 per cent on July 1st.

Dropping the VAT rate is a lifeline for restaurants and bars that serve food.
The Vintners Federation of Ireland is welcoming cutting the rate from 13 point 5 per cent to 9 per cent on July 1st.

It says it's needed to help bars that serve food, that are struggling from the costs Government has put on them.
