It's hoped the coming weeks will see an update on the reopening of the Ballaghaderreen Swimming Pool.
The facility has been closed over the last two years, with works needed on the pool and surrounding facilities.
Owner's of the pool had previously stated that works are due to commence shortly with the facility planned to reopen in late spring.

Speaking to Shannonside FM this week, local TD Claire Kerrane says that an operator is ready to take over the running of the pool once the works are complete. The Sinn Fein Deputy is hopeful the spring target will be met:
