There's also been some restated earnings for 2021, off the back of controversy at the broadcaster last year.

RTÉ has revealed their ten top paid presenters for 2022. There's also been some restated earnings for 2021, off the back of controversy at the broadcaster last year. Former Late Late Show host Ryan Tubridy earned €515,000 in 2022. Joe Duffy received the second highest pay packet at €351,000, the same as what he earned the year before. RTE Radio 1's Claire Byrne's earnings dropped from €350,000 to €320,833. While Miriam O'Callaghan was paid €263,000 in 2022. Ray D'Arcy had earnings of €250,000, 200,000 less than 2019. Brendan O'Connor is in sixth place at €245,000.

The top 6 highest paid presenters are all contractors which means they aren't treated as RTÉ staff. Bryan Dobson, Mary Wilson, Darragh Maloney and George Lee make up the remainder of the list all getting between 179 thousand and 210 thousand euro. They are all RTÉ employees.
