Tributes are being paid to well known local publican Dessie Hynes who passed away last weekend. Dessie owned O'Donoghues pub in Dublin from 1977 to 1988.

Speaking to Let's Talk earlier today, Longford-Westmeath TD Joe Flaherty described Dessie as small in stature but a larger than life person. Deputy Flaherty spoke about Dessie's love for his home county of Longford:
