Works have commenced on additional safety measures in Ballymahon.
Funding was secured in October for the introduction traffic calming and flashing lights around all three schools in the town.
It comes following concerns from parents over road safety and it's understood additional signage, feedback speeding signs, and zebra crossing lights are being erected.

Senator Micheal Carrigy confirmed the funding in 2022 and the commencement of works during the week.
